Just a very quick blog today. You will have seen
the news that our Council Leader Jane Scott has today been elevated to the
House of Lords. This is fantastic news, for Jane personally and also our
organisation and great county.
Carolyn, Maggie and I have just met with Jane and
she has asked us to pass on her thanks and recognition to you all. This honour
is about Jane, her vision, leadership, commitment and delivery but it is also
about the wonderful staff we have who deliver day in and day out for us all and
particularly the residents and citizens of Wiltshire. Jane intends to stay on
as Leader of the Council.
